I thought my workouts were sufficient. During my very first Torch experience, I knew that attending classes at Torch would become part of my life. The challenges presented via the heat and the poses and in a non-judgmental space was new for me. I love getting out of my head in a like-minded community for an hour or more where the primary theme is to calm the mind so that the body can reach its potential. The inner strength I have gained thus far has encouraged me to get out of my own way. That strength is pervasive in a positive manner. It stays with me even off the mat. It has made me more willing to push beyond my expectations; to increase my confidence; to be able to calm my mind off the mat.
